Change management may be dead, but the office clearly isn’t. People have been, however. demanding it's speedy evolution in the past decade and especially during Covid-19. Today's work environments are user & data driven. To give meaning to the “future of work” beyond it’s buzzwordy charm, I’ve been honing a skill of foresight and following the best of it’s many shapers. From flexibility to spirituality, urban to escape, tailored to on-demand, community-centric, zen, eco, female, family, you name it. Though Kerouac has a point, there's evidence that time in the office shapes us in significant ways. The exploration of innovation ecosystems and collaborative environments has taken me around the world meeting various stakeholders in the field and gaining valuable insights into workplace strategy. In 2015 I was approached by HB Reavis, the largest workspace provider in the EU to build the strategy and consulting methodology of what is now called Origameo, an international in-house workplace consultancy. I also helped with developing HB Reavis’s co-working concept later named HubHub. Further exciting opportunities followed to co-create workplace concepts enabling innovation, entrepreneurship and learning, and it’s been nothing less than climbing mountains.
