Entrepreneurs
"Some things benefit from shocks; they thrive and grow when exposed to volatility, randomness, disorder, and stressors and love adventure, risk, and uncertainty. Yet, in spite of the ubiquity of the phenomenon, there is no word for the exact opposite of fragile. Let us call it antifragile. Antifragility is beyond resilience or robustness. The resilient resists shocks and stays the same; the antifragile gets better."

Beyond momentarily freedom and the bliss of creative spirit, entrepreneurship has mainly been about deciding what am I willing to sacrifice in order to be on this path. It meant saying goodbye to most of the certainty, peace, solemn order, immediate reward and recognition I had before. Gains arrived at a high price and often disguised by misty future outlooks but to this day I haven’t once regretted going for it. Taleb’s quote describes the essence of the kind of entrepreneurial mindset I aspire to maintain. I owe it’s capacity to build up people, communities and economies a committed support of entrepreneurs and their ecosystems.
